There are a number of different types of battery or cells, which come in an endless range of shapes and sizes. Listed below is a summary for the recycling of lead acid batteries.
Lead acid batteries as used in cars, are normally two volts per cell. Lead acid batteries are well known for being rechargeable. These batteries have large capacities of lead which is very poisonous and this type of battery can be wet or dry. These batteries are a recyclable battery. AA Waste will collect your spent lead acid batteries and take them to a fully licensed recycler where the recycling process begins. The recycling of lead acid batteries makes our recycling service successful from both environmental and cost perspectives.
