AA Waste is based in Woking, Surrey, Swindon, Wiltshire and Southampton, Hampshire. From these bases we provide a UK nationwide service for the collection and disposal of thousands of chemical, hazardous, non-hazardous and special wastes every year for companies and authorities across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
AA Waste deal with many different waste streams, one of them being sharps disposal. There are a number of different types of sharps, which come in an endless range of shapes and sizes. This page gives a brief detail of our service for the collection and disposal your spent sharps.
AA Waste prefer to use recycling routes over landfill. Our frequent collections ensure regular disposal of sharps often together with other forms of waste such as clinical, chemical and laboratory waste. Many of our customers have a pre-scheduled collection arrangement, whereby we simply turn up on a pre-arranged day, with all the necessary paperwork and replacement sharps bins (sin bins) if required. To ensure minimal disruption for some of our customers, we are waste store key holders. The sharps are taken to a fully licensed transfer station where our business partners deal with them in bulk. This makes our sharps disposal service extremely successful from both environmental and cost perspectives. A full range of the sharps bins (sin bins) we supply are shown on our Drums and Container Supplies page.
AA Waste hope that this information has been useful to you. For information about our many other services you go back to our "Our Services" page.
